vinyasa slow flow

I trained at sarvaguna yoga- meditation training and research academy in Goa, India, graduating in December 2023 with a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate in the styles of Hatha, vinyasa and yin yoga (yoga alliance certified).

Before my formal training, I volunteered as a helper for local hot yoga classes for almost two years. I wanted to take on a yoga practise because I wanted to take better care of myself, unifying body, mind and spirit for better mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health. Yoga is a wonderful ancient practise that allows you to evolve, grow and even heal, each time you practise it can be completely different, yet each practise counts, the most important thing is to arrive on your mat, for yourself!

Yoga is a personal journey and not always an easy one, working out the difference between discomfort and pain can be key in the early days.

If you decide to attend one of my classes, you can expect a friendly atmosphere while we flow through some energising hatha inspired-vinyasa slow flows incorporating breath work and giving you the time to work on your vinyasa flows and connect to your body through your breath. I hope to highlight the importance of focus and presence in order to improve every posture and by extension your wellbeing as a whole. Also there may be some ambiance such music and scented products to help create an environment that you can practise in, not to mention I hope that your form will be improved next time the pace may quicken! The trick is to keep showing up on your mat, for whatever reason you feel it’s needed today.

Namaste everybody and I hope I see you around on a mat soon!
